Panel Instruments (944): Speedometer

Locate connectors "A" and "B" behind dash gauges. Test for voltage supply and ground to speedometer head unit. Connect tester to connector "B" , pin No. 13 (circuit No. 15) and connector "A", pin No. 9 (circuit No. 31). Battery voltage should be present when ignition switch is in the "ON" position.
