Steering Column Assembly: Removal

Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove blower, ducting and steering shaft cover. Remove "U" joint retaining bolt.
From driver's compartment, remove knee strip, light switch and tachometer. Drill out shear bolts retaining ignition switch/steering lock.
Lift off horn pad. Remove steering wheel. Detach wire connectors. Remove steering column switch assembly with steering shaft and tube.
