Idle Speed Switch
- Disconnect DME control unit connector. Connect DVOM between terminal No. 24 (ground) and terminal No. 52 (idle speed switch). See Figure . With throttle valve closed, ohmmeter reading should be less than 10 ohms.
- Open throttle valve beyond 1-degree opening angle. With throttle valve open, ohmmeter reading should be infinity. If ohmmeter readings are incorrect, measure resistance directly at idle speed switch and adjust if necessary. See ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
