Idle Speed Control: Notes

All models use an air regulating valve (idle speed positioner) to provide auxiliary air valve operation and idle speed stabilization. Air regulating valve is located near throttle body and is controlled by DME control unit. When necessary, air regulating valve will adjust air by-pass opening to maintain both cold and warm engine idle speeds.
