Anti-Lock Brake System: Abs5
- ABS5 is bled using conventional method. Use of an electric filling/bleeding machine is recommended. Refer to electric filling/bleeding machine manufacturer's instructions for specific operating procedure.CAUTION: On low mileage vehicles, pump brake pedal the full pedal stroke. On high mileage vehicles, use only half pedal stroke to avoid damage to master cylinder primary cup.
- If electric filling/bleeding machine is not available, Turn engine on. Manually bleed system using an assistant. For bleeding order, see BRAKELINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Ensure all air is removed from brake system. Refill brake fluid reservoir after bleeding procedure is complete.
