Installing The Hydraulic Control Unit

Thinly coat toroidal sealing ring for wiring harness plug with Vaseline and insert plug into transmission housing.
Carefully put on hydraulic control unit and insert the pin of the detent disk -1- into the groove of the selector valve -2- . See Fig 1 .

First tighten fastening screws for hydraulic control unit hand tight. Then tighten from inside outwards.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ft.lb)
Attach securing clasp for wiring harness plug and let holding tongue engage.
Install ATF filter. See REMOVING AND INSTALLING ATF FILTER .
