Fault code 0532: Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE:

Battery positive voltage: A battery positive voltage of between 11.4 and 14.5 V is required for the following troubleshooting procedure. This must be checked and ensured, if necessary. On the vehicle electrical system, the voltage must be ensured up to the fuse (input side).

DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

2	Check the battery or alternator.	Go to Step 3	Charge battery or Replace battery Repair generator → End
3	Check ground points and plug connection on the vehicle battery and plug connections on the steering column switch (with electronic unit) to ensure that they are securely seated and not corroded.	→ End	Clean/repair plug connections and/or ground points → End
