Subsequent Work For Front Side Airbag

Information 

After replacing airbag components, proof of replacement must be documented in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.

1. Secure the front backrest cover at the inner side bolster. → INSTALLING COVER FOR FRONT BACKREST - section on "Installing".
2. Connect ground strap for the battery and carry out work instructions after disconnecting the battery. → 978509 LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY
3. If the airbag unit was replaced, proof of replacement must be entered in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.
