Removing adjustment fitting

Information 

After any accident, the seat belt system must be checked systematically for signs of damage. If damage is found, the entire seat belt system must be replaced.

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .

1. Unscrew fastening screw -1-  on sash guide cover and remove sash guide cover -A-  .

2. Position adjustment fitting -1-  so that the fastening screw -2-  is accessible.

3. Unscrew the fastening screw -2-  .
4. Fold adjustment fitting inwards -arrow A-  and remove by pulling it upwards -arrow B-  .
