The sealing surfaces of the hinge and spring strut mount must be paint-free with bare metal exposed.
Information
The clinch points in the firewall area -yellow points- will not be replaced by blind rivets. These points will only be bonded. This means that no bores are required here.

- Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
- The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
- Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.
- Fit in spring strut mount and secure it to the body.
- Drill holes for rivets through both sheetmetal plates. > Diameter 6.6 mm

- Remove spring strut mount.
- Prepare marked areas for bonding and riveting.
