Preparing Spring Strut Mount For Installation

1. Cut reinforcement in area -Arrows-  leaving an overlap of 30 mm over the remaining piece.

2. Fit in and secure reinforcements.
   1. 2.1 Tack-weld upper part -1-  and lower part -2-  of reinforcement -Arrows-  .
3. Remove reinforcements.

   1. 3.1 Resistance spot-weld the marked area -LHD vehicle -  .
4. Prepare wing bracket for welding.

5. Prepare reinforcement for bonding and welding.

6. Drill holes for plug-welding in the marked areas -LHD vehicle -  on the spring strut mount using a drill bit with a diameter of > Diameter 8.0 mm  .

7. Drill holes for plug-welding in the marked areas -LHD vehicle -  of the lower part of the plenum panel using a > diameter of 8.0 mm  .

   Orange	Resistance spot-welding
   Green	Resistance spot-welding + bonding
   Red	Plug-welding/apply a full weld using inert gas without bonding

8. Prepare wiper holders for resistance spot-welding on the marked surfaces.
