Disassembly & Reassembly
Clean carburetor externally. Remove float chamber cover, check needle valve and gasket. Check float lever and spindle for bent condition, replace if necessary. Shake float to be sure no gas has leaked in. Check main jet, idling jet, and emulsion jet, blow clean with compressed air. Check slide of cold starting device for excessive surface wear. Before assembling clean all parts and blow out all passages with compressed air. Be sure to use a new float chamber gasket when reassembling.
