Manufacturers make modifications on a continuing basis. Current modifications of this unit started with turbo vehicle transaxles numbered 001-1701 and non-turbo vehicle transaxles numbered 002-2801. Information contained in this article represents the newest information available. Following is a list of the most current revisions: front servo piston, 3rd-2nd drain valve and underplate, valve body plate clip, regulating valve, primary regulator valve, front oil cover, throttle lever; dipstick, pick-up filter and several oil dispensing lines.
The transaxle identification number is stamped on a plate attached to torque converter housing near throttle cable and distributor.
