Front Suspension: Description
Saab 9000 series vehicles use independent MacPherson strut type suspension with an anti-roll bar. Strut assemblies are mounted to inner fender panels at the top by 3 bolts. The bottom of the strut assemblies are mounted directly to steering knuckle with 2 bolts. The lower control arms are pressed steel and include ball joint, anti-roll bar, and frame mounting connections.
