Oxygen Sensor

The oxygen sensor checks exhaust gas for presence of unburned oxygen. Unburned oxygen in exhaust gas indicates incomplete combustion due to improper mixture, spark timing or other conditions. Oxygen sensor has a heating function to quickly bring sensor to operating temperature.
