A/C Clutch Relay (900 Non-Turbo)

  1. Remove relay from relay panel. Relay panel is located under hood, on left side.
  2. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire on socket) and No. 87B (Red wire on socket). Replace relay if continuity exists.
  3. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire on socket) and No. 87 (Green wire on socket). Replace relay if continuity exists.
  4. Connect 12 volts to relay terminal No. 86 (Blue wire on socket). Connect terminal No. 85 (Black wire on socket) to ground. Relay should click.
  5. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire on socket) and No. 87B (Red wire on socket). Replace relay if there is no continuity.
  6. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 (Yellow wire on socket) and No. 87 (Green wire on socket). Replace relay if there is no continuity.
