SERVICE INFORMATION
On early 1992 Saab 900 models (-N2015364), which were produced on line 2, the lubricating grease that was installed for the sway bar bushings was of the incorrect specification. Consequently, after driving a few miles the grease is "consumed" and gives the impression that none was ever installed. This leads to a "groaning" or "squeaking" when accelerating, braking or going over bumps.
To correct customer complaints of this noise, remove the sway bar to gain complete access to the bushings. Use only grease, P/N 00 26 575. See Fig 1 .
