LED Inoperative

  1. Connect scan tool. Select ACTIVATE, LED, then ON. If LED comes on, problem is intermittent. Check connectors for poor contact. If LED does not come on, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect 2-pin LED connector. Connect test light between LED connector terminals. If test light comes on, replace LED. If test light does not come on, go to next step.
  3. Ensure ignition is off. Check for open circuit between anti-theft control module terminal No. 2 (Blue wire) and LED connector terminal No. 2. See Figure or Figure . If continuity is present, replace anti-theft control module. If continuity is not present, repair wiring.
