To remove

  1. Remove the selector lever housing, see SELECTOR LEVER HOUSING .
    IMPORTANT: When working on a dismantled selector lever housing, the selector lever should be protected with foam rubber or the like.
  2. Cut the cable ties.

  4. Remove the pins for the electromagnet from the connector, pins 5 and 6 in the 6- pin connector and pin 2 in the 2-pin connector.
    NOTE: Note the location of the 3 pins in the connector.
  5. Drill out the rivets, using a three-millimeter bit.
  6. Separate the upper and lower parts of the selector lever housing slightly at the front and undo the screws on the electromagnet.

  7. Undo the lever on top of the electromagnet and remove the electromagnet.
