Remove the battery cover, battery and battery tray.
Disconnect the temperature sensor's cable.

Raise the car.
Remove the two bolts securing the cover.
NOTE: Place an oil pan under the transmission to collect the fluid that runs out.
Unscrew the fluid temperature sensor.
