To remove
- Remove the selector lever housing, see SELECTOR LEVER HOUSING .IMPORTANT: When working on a dismantled selector lever housing, the selector lever should be protected with foam rubber or the like.
- Cut the cable ties.
- Remove the pins for the electromagnet from the connector, pins 5 and 6 in the 6-pin connector and pin 2 in the 2-pin connector.NOTE: Note the location of the 3 pins in the connector.
- Drill out the rivets, using a 3-mm.
- Separate the upper and lower parts of the selector lever housing slightly at the front and undo the screws on the electromagnet.
- Undo the lever on top of the electromagnet and remove the electromagnet.
