A rail is fitted to the front edge of the headlining and is fastened with nine hooks to the first bow of the soft top mechanism. The headlining is secured to the second and third bows by plastic rails that snap onto the bows. The rear of the headlining is fastened to the rear window frame and stretched to the bottom edge of the fifth bow with a steel wire that has screw threads on each end.

The headliner is screwed to the front edge of the front rails and to the top and bottom edges of the rear rails.
