Heating pad, backrest: Changing

- Remove the backrest upholstery, see UPHOLSTERY, BACKREST .
There is no need to remove the head restraint, staples or any connectors for the backrest adjustment.
NOTE: Wear gloves when working with benzine. - Detach the heating pad from the seat cushion using benzine.
Be careful to ensure that large pieces of padding do not come away.
- Unplug the connector for the seat heating and cut the cable ties.
- Wipe the foam rubber cushion before fitting the new heating pad.
- Pull off the backing paper on the new heating pad.
- Position the new pad on the foam cushion and press.NOTE: Ensure that the wiring harness sits correctly.
- Secure the cable with cable ties.
- Plug in the connector for the seat heating.
- Fit the upholstery fabric, see TO FIT .
