The main function of the control module is to:

• Identify each wheel on the vehicle.
• Monitor tire pressure information and determine if a warning message or alarm is to be emitted.
• Emit warning or alarm messages via the I-bus when the criteria for this are met.
• Monitor the tire pressure monitoring system if faults arise, as well as its integral components, and transmit information on this via the I-bus.
