Master Cylinder: Removal

Thoroughly drain the brake fluid from reservoir tank.

Remove the snap pin, clevis pin and separate the push rod of master cylinder from clutch pedal.

  1. Clevis pin
  2. Snap pin
  3. Push rod
  4. Lock nut

Remove the air intake chamber (Saab 9-2X 2.5i Linear).

Remove the intercooler (Saab 9-2X 2.0T Aero).

Disconnect the clutch pipe from master cylinder.

Remove the master cylinder and reservoir tank as a unit.

IMPORTANT: Be extremely careful not to spill brake fluid. Brake fluid split on the vehicle body will harm the paint surface; wipe it off quickly if split.
