To remove

  1. Open the tailgate.
  2. Remove the inner handle. Remove the trim clips.

  3. US/CA: Detach the emergency handle from the trim. Detach the wire from the emergency handle.
  4. Slightly bend aside the trim from the cover on the lock.
  5. Loosen the trim guide clips and lift away the trim from the boot lid.
  6. Remove the lamp housing nuts.

  7. Separate the connector.
  8. Remove the lamp housing.
