To fit

Screw in the track-rod end the same number of turns as when it was removed.
NOTE: The left and right track-rod ends are different. The track-rod ends should curve slightly backwards when fitted. Markings: LH = left-hand side, RH = right-hand side.

Bolt the track-rod end to the steering swivel member.
Tightening torque 35 Nm (26 lbf ft) .
Tighten the track-rod end's locknut.
Tightening torque 70 Nm (55 lbf ft) .
Fit the wheel, see WHEEL .

aluminum wheel 110 Nm (81 lbf ft)

steel wheel 50 Nm + 2x90°, max. 110 Nm (37 lbf ft + 2x90°, max. 81 lbf ft)

Lower the car to the floor.
Check the toe-in and adjust if required. Use TOE-IN GAUGE 88 19 013 .
