To remove
- Raise the car. If a jack is used, the car must be supported on safety stands.
- Remove the wheel.
- Remove the nut from the anti-roll bar link.
- Remove the steering swivel member from the MacPherson strut. Hold the bolt in place and remove the nut. Tap out the bolt. Use a new bolt when fitting.NOTE: The bolts are of a spline type and must not be turned.
- Withdraw the steering swivel member from the suspension strut.
- Remove the MacPherson strut's three retaining bolts at the top attachment point.
- Remove the MacPherson strut.
