Installation Procedure

Position the latch to the liftgate.

Connect the electrical connector.
Install the bolts that retain the latch to the lift gate.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
Adjust the portion of the latch to allow the lift gate window striker enter the center of the latch.
Tighten: Tighten the latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
