Installation Procedure
- Install the liftgate window weatherstrip, starting at the top center of the liftgate opening position the liftgate window weatherstrip to the pinch-weld flange. Work down the right and left sides toward the bottom center.
- Install the butt joint seam at the center of the bottom pinch-weld flange.
- Use a rubber mallet to ensure full engagement of the liftgate window weatherstrip to the pinch-weld flange.
- Spooning of the liftgate window weatherstrip may be required to complete the installation of the liftgate window weatherstrip.
- Close the liftgate window.
IMPORTANT:
Do not stretch the liftgate window weatherstrip during installation.
