Plates and stickers: Notes

When contacting a Saab dealer, it is sometimes important to know the car's VIN, engine serial number and gearbox serial number.

1. The marking plate for modifications (campaign plate) is located on the right-hand side of the engine compartment on cars in markets requiring such marking.
2. VIN and barcode, inside windscreen
3. Gearbox serial number, see TRANSMISSION IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION (AF-40) or Gearbox, identification information (F40)TRANSMISSION IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION
4. Engine serial number, see ENGINE IDENTIFICATION (4-CYL.) or ENGINE IDENTIFICATION (V6)
5. Sticker for tire pressures and color codes (upholstery and body), driver's side B-pillar
