Stabilizer Shaft Replacement

Preliminary Procedure  Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE . Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . For AWD, remove the propeller shaft. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT . Disconnect the stabilizer links from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to STABILIZER SHAFT LINK REPLACEMENT (GNA)  or STABILIZER SHAFT LINK REPLACEMENT (GNB) . Support the rear of the frame assembly, using a suitable jack stand. Release the bolt to the rear transmission mount. Refer to TRANSMISSION REAR MOUNT REPLACEMENT (A/T) , TRANSMISSION REAR MOUNT REPLACEMENT (F40 M/T) or . Remove the rear fasteners to the frame the frame to body bolts. Refer to Subframe, replace (GNA)  or Subframe, replace (GNB) . Lower the rear of the frame MAX 50 mm, in order to gain clearance to the stabilizer shaft.
1	Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Fastener (Qty: 4) Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Tighten  22 Nm (16 lb ft) + 30 degrees + 15 degrees
