Remove REAR CATALYTIC CONVERTER, 4WD, see COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM 4WD .
Mark out the mounting positions (A), use spray paint.

Detach the propeller shaft (A) from the differential clutch. Hold secure with DT-49147 Support.

Remove the shaft from the differential clutch, attach DT-49064 Puller to the driver's unthreaded hole. Start by pressing out the shaft with the bolt (A). If the shaft does not loosen, rotate the driver a half turn, fit and then continue pressing with the next bolt.

Remove the tool.
Remove the mountings (A) and allow the propeller shaft to rest against the column jack and DT-49035 Holder, propeller shaft.

Remove the front joint (A) with DT-49030 Removal tool, removing in two steps. A wooden block may be required between the tool and the flange to extract the joint completely.

Lower and pull the propeller shaft away.
