Preliminary Procedure  Remove the water pump and balance shaft chain tensioner. Refer to WATER PUMP AND BALANCE SHAFT CHAIN TENSIONER REPLACEMENT .
1	Balancer Chain Adjustable Guide Fastener Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Procedure  Always install the fasteners with LOCTITE. Tighten  10 Nm (89 lb in)
