Removal Procedure

NOTE: Secure the chain boxes with the hook chains on the outside of the engine bridge.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the EN-47649 engine bridge (5).
Remove the safety pins (2).

NOTE: The EN-47650-50 rail is the equipment of the EN-47650 retainer frame and enclosed in the EN-47650 retainer frame tool kit.
Remove the EN-47650-50 rail (4) from the EN-47650 retainer frame.
Remove the safety pins (3).
- Remove the front right side of the EN-47650
retainer frame:
- Loosen the bolts from the clamping piece (3).
- Loosen the hook (1) with the thumb wheel (2) and turn the hook 90° from the upper tie bar.
- Remove the front left side of the EN-47650
retainer frame:
- Loosen the bolts from the clamping piece (3).
- Loosen the hook (1) with the thumb wheel (2) and turn the hook 90° from the upper tie bar.
- Loosen the rear side of the EN-47650
retainer frame:
- 5.1. Loosen the EN-47650 retainer frame from the EN-47650-300 rear adapters with the mounting bolts (1).
- 5.2. Remove the safety pins (2) from the EN-47650-300 rear adapters and the side bars.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the EN-47650 retainer frame (1) from the vehicle.
- Install the engine wiring harness connectors to the headlamp mount panel reinforcement - left side.
- Remove the EN-47650-300 rear adapter (1) from the front compartment rail.
- Clean all contact surfaces (1) from the EN-47650 retainer frame on the upper tie bar.
- Install both wiring harness retainer to both front compartment rails.
