Preliminary Procedure  Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY REPLACEMENT . Remove the manual transmission shift lever cable from the shift control housing.
1	Shift Control Housing Fastener (Qty: 2) Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Tighten  26 Nm (19 lb ft)
2	Shift Control Housing Procedure  Detach the cables from the shift linkage lever. Remove the shift cables from the counterhold. After installation, adjust the manual transmission shift lever cable. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER CABLE ADJUSTMENT .
