Refer to SIR WARNING . Preliminary Procedure  Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING . Remove the front floor console extension panel. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE EXTENSION PANEL REPLACEMENT .
1	Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace Fastener (Qty: 3) Refer to FASTENER CAUTION . Procedure  Move the front floor carpet left side in the area of the front floor console. Tighten  22 Nm (16 lb ft)
2	Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace
3	Inflatable Restraint Control Module Fastener (Qty: 3) Procedure  Remove the adapter from the floor rear air outlet duct left side. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Tighten  10 Nm (89 lb in)
4	Inflatable Restraint Control Module Procedure  Tighten down the inflatable restraint control module by all three fasteners. Connect the electrical connectors. Program the inflatable restraint control module after replacement. Refer to CONTROL MODULE REFERENCES .
