SHIFT TO D2 Light
SHIFT TO D2 light is controlled by PCM. The light will be on if any of the following conditions are present when ignition is on: vehicle system voltage too low, PCM detection of faulty line actuator operation, vehicle speed too low in high gear, TCC stuck on, data communication missing, or time serial data communication test being performed (1991 only). SHIFT TO D2 light is also used to flash transaxle related trouble codes and information flags when cavity "A" and "B" of PCM diagnostic connector are jumpered. See Figure .
