Saturn's tool supplier partner, Kent-Moore, has worked extensively with Saturn Service Engineering to develop a repair loaner program for the starting and charging system testers. Depending on the start date of your facility, you should be equipped with either an ARBST (SA9154Z) or Minuteman Plus (SA9154Z-A) Tester which was shipped to you as part of the essential tool start-up package. The warranty period for either tester is one year from the date of arrival of the tester to your facility.
The following is the repair/loaner process for the Starting and Charging System Testers.
- Retailer contacts 1-800-345-2233 (Kent-Moore) regarding service on their Starting and Charging System Tester.
- At the Retailer's request, a loaner unit will be provided by Kent-Moore. Those Retailers in need of a loaner unit will be billed for the full cost of the loaner unit and credited for the unit upon its return to Kent-Moore. The loaner will be shipped via UPS next day air and the freight will be paid by Kent-Moore.
- Once the loaner unit is received, the Retailer should package the disabled tester in the same container the loaner unit arrived in, and include a brief note explaining the problem to:
SPX Wayland Attn: Depot Repair 801 S. Main Street Wayland, MI 49348
- When returning disabled testers to this facility, the Retailer should send the tester unit with the adapters and cables only. Do not return the stand. If a loaner unit is not required, the disabled tester must be shipped in a suitable, secured container.
- When the tester is received at the repair department, a Kent-Moore Customer Service Representative will contact the Retailer with an estimate on the cost to repair the disabled tester. If approved, the tester will be repaired and returned within 3-4 business days.
- If the repair is covered under warranty, the repair and return freight will be paid by KentMoore. The Retailer is responsible for the freight charges when shipping the failed tester to the repair facility.
- If the warranty has expired, the repair will be completed and the Retailer will be billed for the repair charges and freight.
- If any assistance is required on repair status, the Retailer can contact the Repair Department at 1-800-345-2233.
- Once the Retailer receives the repaired tester unit, the Retailer should place the loaner unit in the same shipping container that the repaired unit arrived in and return the loaner unit via UPS next day air to:
SPX Kent-Moore Division Attn: Return Goods 655 Eisenhower Drive Owatonna, MN 55060
The Retailer will be responsible for freight charges on this shipment.
Any questions regarding this repair loaner program can be directed to Kent-Moore at 1-800-345-2233.
