Inner Door Trim Panel: Removal

  1. Remove the screws and mirror trim panel. If equipped with manual remote mirror, allow panel to hang from adjustment cable. See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove power door lock switch, if equipped, by prying out at top of switch with a small, straight screwdriver, with the blade covered to protect surfaces. Disconnect wire harness connector.
  3. Remove screws, slide door handle assembly forward and pull outward. Using a long thin screwdriver, disengage lock and latch rods from retainers. Remove handle assembly.
  4. Remove screws and door pull cup.
  5. Remove inner belt sealing strip.
  6. On coupe, remove screw from rear of trim panel.
  7. On all models, disengage door trim panel retainers from door assembly with a trim panel tool and remove panel assembly.
