Differential Assembly: Disassembly

Drive roll pin out of differential housing and slide out pinion shaft. Remove pinion gears by rotating out of housing. See Figure . Remove side gears and thrust liner from housing. Remove differential side bearings with 2-jaw puller. Shield bearing to protect against bearing breakage.
