Abs & Brake Warning Lights

Two warning lights (Amber ABS and Red BRAKE) alert driver to problems in braking system. BRAKE warning light monitors master cylinder fluid level and parking brake switch status. BRAKE warning light is also illuminated by ABS module.

ABS light alerts driver to problems in Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS). ABS light remains on steadily when a problem has occurred and ABS has been disabled. See DIAGNOSIS & TESTING  . ABS light will flash only when Code 87 is set, and during same ignition cycle that rear motors are found in NOT AT HOME position.
