Diagnostic Aids
If code is set, reverse solenoid connectors and clear code. If code sets again, problem is in wiring or ABS module. If opposite code sets, problem is in solenoid. Check circuits and solenoid for an open. Solenoid resistance should be about 3.5 ohms.
Suspected intermittents or opens at connectors can be detected with diagnostic service probe which permits voltage to be measured on wires without unplugging connectors. Ensure all terminals make good connection. When diagnosing intermittent problems, select MALF HISTORY from scan tool ABS menu. Supplemental data can be used to duplicate problem.
