Wiper/Washer Switch

Remove steering column covers to access connectors on back of multifunction switch (combination switch). Disconnect wiper/washer switch connector from right side of multifunction switch. Measure resistance across switch terminals. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH RESISTANCE  . See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified, replace rear wiper/washer switch.

WIPER/WASHER SWITCH RESISTANCE

Switch Position Terminals (1) Ohms
OFF "C" & "D" Less Than One
ON "B", "C" & "D" Less Than One
WASH "B", "C" & "D" Infinite (Open)
