Input Shaft Assembly: Disassembly
NOTE:
Keep all synchronizer parts together with their original sleeve and hub.
Using a press with support under 3rd drive gear, remove the following components in order:
- 5th Gear Bearing, Bearing Race & Thrust Washer
- Input Shaft Bearing
- 4th Gear Thrust Washer
- 4th Gear
- 4th Gear Synchronizer Ring & Spring
- 4th Gear Bearing
- 4th Gear Bearing Race
- 3-4 Synchronizer Sleeve
- 3-4 Synchronizer Hub
- 3rd Gear Synchronizer Ring & Spring
- 3rd Drive Gear & 3rd Gear Bearing
