Control & Shift Solenoids: Installation

CAUTION: Inspect all O-ring seals for damage prior to installation. Replace any damaged O-ring seals.
  1. Install TCC solenoid with 2 O-rings and screen and install TCC solenoid retainer clip. See Figure. Install pressure control solenoid with 2 O-rings, screen and pressure control solenoid retainer clip. See Figure.
  2. Install 2-3 shift solenoid with O-ring and 2-3 shift solenoid retainer clip. See Figure. Install 1-2 shift solenoid with O-ring and 1-2 shift solenoid retainer clip. See Figure. Install transaxle case side cover. See TRANSAXLE CASE SIDE COVER . Start engine, warm up transaxle, and check for leaks. Check for proper fluid level. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS  under LUBRICATION.
