Cruise Control Cable

CAUTION: DO NOT remove adjustment lock tab from cruise control cable. If adjustment lock tab is removed from cable, cruise control cable must be replaced.

Disengage adjustment lock tab on cruise control cable by lifting straight up. Cable should move freely in and out of adjuster. Ensure throttle plate is in completely closed position. Move cable in or out of adjuster to remove any slack. Cruise control throttle body cam will rest against throttle lever when cable is properly adjusted. Push down to engage adjustment lock. Verify throttle plate goes to completely closed position.
