MULTIFUNCTION Switch
NOTE:
For cruise control switch testing, see appropriate CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEMS article. For wiper/washer switch testing, see appropriate WIPER/WASHER SYSTEMS article.
Turn ignition off. Disconnect electrical connector for appropriate switch to be tested. Using DVOM, check continuity between specified terminals for each switch position. See appropriate CONTINUITY TEST table. Refer to illustrations for switch terminal identification. See Fig 1 , Fig 2 or Fig 3 . If continuity does not exist for selected switch position, replace multifunction switch.
