Removal & Installation

NOTE: Throttle control module is serviced as an assembly with throttle body.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove inlet hose assembly. Disconnect throttle body harness connector. Disconnect hose clamps from plenum-to-runner connector.
  2. Remove intake plenum retaining bolts. Rotate intake plenum upward and remove throttle body coolant hoses. Remove EVAP and vacuum lines from throttle body. Remove throttle body retaining nuts. Remove throttle body.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure new throttle body gasket is used. Tighten retaining nuts to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
