Fuel Injector Assembly: Installation

- Lubricate new fuel injector O-ring seals with clean engine oil and install on fuel injector assembly.
- Install clip onto injector prior to installing injector to fuel rail.
- Install port fuel injector assembly into fuel rail, with the fuel injector electrical connector facing upward.
IMPORTANT: Press injector into fuel rail until it "clicks" into the retainer clip.
- Install fuel rail assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION under FUEL RAIL REPLACEMENT.
